Support MAdAT with their work
We do not receive any help from the government and we therefore rely heavily on private donations and sponsorship. If you wish to support our work, you can do so in various ways:
Bring back transport boxes to Tenerife.
Escort animals to Germany and the rest of Europe.
Walking the resident dogs.
Donations for the refuge (Food, transport boxes, etc.)
Sponsor an animal.
Become a member.
Adopt one of our dogs or cats.
If you wish to support us by becoming a member of our association, then please download the PDF document and return it to us dully filled in.
Donation of money
By transferring a one-off or monthly donation you will help us fund the monthly food bill, the vet – care- and castration costs. On the Legal Disclaimer page you will find our Spanish bank details. Please make sure to quote the IBAN- and BIC-number! We are a Spanish association and therefore we can only write receipts in the Spanish language. We and our animals are grateful for every donation.
Donation of goods
Having a clear out? Not sure what to do with unwanted gifts? We are grateful for all donations . We will gladly collect from your home on Tenerife or you can drop the items at the refuge.
Sponsoring an animal
Some of the animals that we care for are not suitable for re-homing through no fault of their own. They will spend the rest of their life in our care. We are looking for sponsorship for these animals. All those animals are fed on a regular basis and are of course de-wormed, vaccinated, micro chipped and castrated. For more information regarding, sponsorship, animals to be sponsored go to the rubric Sponsorship.
Volunteer (Helping out in the refuge)
We appreciate all help given in our refuge. If you live on Tenerife, have a love of animals and have some spare time on your hands and would like to give a helping hand in the refuge then please contact us. Or maybe you are here on holiday and wish to spend a few hours helping the animals?
We sure can use help with cleaning of the refuge, grooming, taking the dogs out for a walk or cuddling the cats etc.
